Developed, unridged, 3/4 groove axe. A descendant of the earlier pronounced ridge form, remnants of ridges remain above and below the hafting groove. The overall shape of this example is cylindrical, with sides and edges forming an unangled oval. The inner edge is flattened only at the hafting platform. A/B - blades parallel becoming increasingly convex near the bit. X/Y - sides taper to a small rounded bit. Good polish on blades, absence of polish in the wide pecked groove. Brown hardstone with turquoise colored inclusions.

Found along the Rio Magdalena near Cibuta, Sonora, Mexico by Juan Sisaros 9/4/95.
