Colt 3rd Model Derringer single shot pistol. 2 1/2" barrel, .41 RF. Serial #15216. "COLT" marked in large letters on the top of the barrel, and ".41 CAL" marked on the left side of the frame. Mfg. 1880s.
Matching serials on the barrel and inside of the left grip. Blade front sight, with standard swiveling barrel. Full factory nickel finish, with the hammer and trigger being case colored. Period pearl grips. Metal retains 90% of its original finish with only a few minor scratches. Bore is clean overall, retaining strong rifling. Tight hammer, being mechanically fine.
