The set triggers have not been tested, The barrel has acquired a mottled brown patina with heavy pitting near the nipple. The bore has not been inspected for condition. The stock features various areas of repair including repairs to old cracks and holes.
The ramrod appears period but may be a replacement. The foremost ramrod tube is of copper and is attached to a square wood rod running the length of the barrel. It is unknown whether this is original to the piece or a period fix. The trigger guard is missing the screw holding it to the butt of the stock.
