
Antique Full Stock Percussion Long Rifle
The rifle is in fair condition. It is mechanically functioning but has cosmetic wear and replacement parts. The barrel has a heavy patina and shows signs of having been buffed. The pins holding the stock to the barrel appear to have been replaced as does the lock plate. The bore has not been visually inspected.
The rifle has two adornments tacked to the right side of the stock, a crescent moon engraved with stars, and a cast metal cross medallion. It is unknown whether these were period adornments or later enhancements.
