Pony Express Bag?
Two tone leather dispatch pouch with brain tanned buffalo and cowhide with buck stitching still having original strap to go over saddle horn. Both sides braided. Family history says it was used by the Pony Express. Can't prove but is of the style and weight, and shows the appropriate "U shaping" from use. In as found condition.
