Nez Perce Child's Moccasins
This unmatched pair of Nez Perce moccasins were presented to "baby" Gurtrude Maxwell by tribal members who were friends of her parents, Oscar and Deed Maxwell. Gurtrude was admitted to the cowgirl hall of fame in 1993, born in 1908, passed in 1998. In the early 90s went blind and sold these moccasins at a local antique store. Apparantly, couldn't see mismatched two pair.
