Three miniature Inuit carved musk ox of fossilized walrus ivory by RB Kokuluk. RB Kokuluk, an Inuit Eskimo, has had his work displayed many times. A mask that he carved was shown at a 2012 Native American Arts Show by Bonhams. These carvings were usually small carvings from walrus ivory, representing local animals and Inuit themselves, going about everyday life. Seals, caribou, polar bears, birds, and other animals important to Inuit’s survival were often represented.
