Inuit carved cribbage board. Collected in Alaska in the 1920's. He thinks Bavan Island. Carved polar bear with carvings on top of polar bear, seal, and tusked walrus bull. These carvings were usually small carvings from walrus ivory, representing local animals and Inuit themselves, going about everyday life. Seals, caribou, polar bears, birds, and other animals important to Inuit’s survival were often represented. On peg stands. 18"L x 2"W
