The basket has heavy patina and evidence of native use. Provenance, age, and condition - rare and collectible polychrome with stylized butterfly design. This basket is made of cedar root, bundle coils, cherry bark and cedar bark. Imbricated with beargrass and cedar bark. The imbricated weaving is most common in the Northwest by the Plateau tribes. 10" x 9" x 10"
