The clean painting and carving on this pole reflect the best of the Williams family’s iconic style. This pole has a leather tong on the back and was intended to be hung on the wall.
On the verso: "Hand Carved/Indian Made/From the World Famous/Ye Olde Curiosity Shop/Seattle, WA/Since 1899” with an inventory number and Williams’ carved signature. Carved of white cedar.
