Copper trade kettle. Mid 19th Century or earlier. This one used by the Cavalry. Came from a Nebraska ranch. Hand forged handle attached by iron rivets. Note, wear from use. One yoke missing. Bottom marked. Multiple patents with the first being 1851 and the last being 1866.
