His works are included in most exhibitions of 20th Century Canadian art with dozens of examples in permanent collections of Canadian museums. Humphrey was a member of numerous art organizations and his art displayed in numerous exhibitions. Currently his works are part of the touring exhibition Canada on Canvas, organized by the Winnipeg Art Gallery.
