Antique Remington-Elliot 4-Shot Tip-Up Ring-Trigger Derringer, #14901, .32 RF cal., stationary 3.375″ ribbed barrel cluster marked “Manufactured by E. Remington & Sons, Ilion, N.Y.” at left, “Elliot’s Patents May 29, 1860-Oct. 1, 1861” at right, has hook-like sliding barrel release underneath; frame has barrel hinge at front, rotating striker in breech, ring trigger, integral trigger sheath and gripstraps, 2-pc. smooth hard rubber grips. Mfg’d ca. 1863-88. Condition is excellent retaining approx. 95% nickel with scattered miniscule spotting, sharp edges and markings. Action is smooth, bores show good rifling.
