Three figure carved totem with original sticker, “Ye Olde Curiosity Shoppe, Coleman Dock, Seattle” and “History of Indian Totem Poles.” This older Nuu-chah-nulth pole features a black bear over an inverted frog and a skeletal human head. It is from Ye Olde Curiosity Shop, and, based on the informational paper on back, dates to the first few years after the shop opened in 1899. The pole features wonderful original paints and is nicely carved in an early Nuu-chah-nulth model totem style. 13″H
