This melon-shaped 2-piece mold was used in England in the 1700-1800s to make blancmange, gelatin breads, or bread pudding. It is probably similar to what Bob Cratchit’s wife used to make their Christmas plum pudding. Handles on both top and bottom. 7 1/2″ long 5 1/2″ wide 4 1/2″ tall.
